Recently, the JMA Data Distribution System (JDDS) has been experiencing heavy traffic due to increase of the number of accesses. Making multiple connections or maintaining a long-term connection impose an excessive load on the server and interfere with normal server operation. So please refrain from making multiple connections and maintaining a long-term connection when downloading the data.
Regarding maximum connection time, we kindly ask users to limit to 12 hours per day in total.
Example
logon -> download (1 hour) -> logoff -> break (1 hour) -> logon -> ...
